At myFurever, supporting the human–animal bond doesn’t stop with the two of you.
It extends outward — to the shelters and rescues bringing pets and families together, to the researchers, educators and program developers deepening our understanding of the bond, and to the communities working every day to strengthen the connection between people and animals.
Our commitment to giving back isn’t an add-on. It never was.
Babs has always believed that love, done properly, extends beyond itself. So we didn't add giving back to myFurever. We built myFurever around it.
The Pledge: Fur the Greater Good
Fur the Greater Good is our commitment to support organizations that strengthen the human–animal bond through science, compassionate care, education, and community.
We give back in two ways — by supporting our shelter and rescue partners through The Homecoming Program, and by contributing to organizations doing meaningful work in the human–animal bond space.
Altogether, up to 4% of our proceeds each year goes toward these efforts.

How We Choose Our Partners
The Homecoming Program
Shelter & Rescue Partners
Shelters and rescues do the hardest part of this work — they bring pets and people together. The Homecoming Program is our way of making sure that work ripples further.
When a shelter or rescue joins as a Homecoming Partner, they receive a unique code to share with the families they serve. When a family subscribes through a partner’s code, $5 goes back to that organization. Every year they renew, $4 more follows — compounding quietly into meaningful support the longer that family stays. No percentages, no fine print. Just a thank-you that keeps returning. Partner support is shared once a year.
The Homecoming Program is designed for the moment a family is made: a pet and a person or family finding each other, a new story beginning, and someone ready to hold onto every moment of it. myFurever shows up at exactly that moment — and the shelter or rescue that made it happen shares in everything that follows.

Research, Education & Community Impact
Each year, we carefully select and vet organizations working to deepen our collective understanding of the bond between people and animals. These are the researchers, clinicians, educators, and community builders whose work makes the science more accessible, the care more compassionate, and the bond more understood.
Our partners represent a range of approaches, including:
- Therapy-animal and service-animal programs
- Research and academic institutions
- Education and community outreach programs
- Emerging approaches that expand understanding of how the bond shapes human well-being
Some of these partners are also featured in The Bond Effect by myFurever, where their work and their stories are shared through thoughtful conversation — with researchers speaking like humans, and humans speaking about what they feel.

We believe accountability matters. Not as a legal obligation, but as a natural extension of the same values that shape everything else myFurever does.
Each year, we share updates from our partners and other sponsored organizations so you can see how being part of the myFurever community contributes to real-world impact. What programs were expanded. What research was supported. How many family stories began with a Homecoming Partner code and are still unfolding.
This transparency keeps our giving intentional, measurable, and aligned with our mission.

Grow the Good Together
As the myFurever community grows, so does our ability to give back. More families in the community means more giving to the shelters and rescues who brought them together, and more investment in the research, education, and programs that helps the bond flourish for everyone.
