This Privacy Policy explains how Furever, LLC (“myFurever,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the myFurever mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). myFurever is designed to be a private digital space where people can celebrate the bond they share with their pets through memories, reflections, and storytelling. myFurever is designed to prioritize user privacy and personal control over memories and content shared within the Service.

2. Plain Language Privacy Summary

Your memories belong to you. Photos, videos, reflections, and pet stories that you create in myFurever remain your content. myFurever is designed as a private memory space, not a social media platform. Your content is private by default and is only shared with people you choose to invite into a pet’s memory space.

We collect only the information needed to operate the app, maintain your account, and provide the features you request. We do not sell personal information to advertisers or data brokers, and we do not use your memories or reflections for advertising or behavioral tracking.

Artificial intelligence features in the Service use the content you provide only to generate the stories, reflections, or keepsakes you request. Unless clearly disclosed otherwise in the future, user memories and images are not used to train external artificial intelligence models.

You can update or delete your account at any time, and you may request an export of your content by contacting customer support in accordance with our Terms of Use.

You may provide information when creating an account, creating a pet profile, uploading photos or videos, writing memories or reflections, interacting with AI-powered features, or contacting customer support. This may include name or username, email address, pet information, photos and videos, and written reflections or journal entries, messages shared with invited family and friends.

This includes creating and managing user accounts, storing and organizing pet memories, generating AI-assisted stories or keepsakes, enabling users to share memories with invited family members or friends, providing customer support, and communicating important service updates.

Information may also be used to maintain the security and reliability of the platform, diagnose technical issues, understand how features are used, and improve the performance and stability of the Service. We use this information only to operate, maintain, and improve the functionality, reliability, and security of the Service. myFurever does not use personal information for advertising, behavioral profiling, or cross-app tracking, and we do not sell personal data to advertisers or marketing companies.

We may also use information in other ways that are compatible with the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, provided that such use is disclosed to users where required by applicable law.

Artificial intelligence features may process text entries, images, videos, and pet profile information that users choose to provide within the Service solely to generate the AI-assisted content or functionality requested by the user and to support operation of the Service.

Some features of myFurever use artificial intelligence technologies to generate stories, reflections, summaries, memory highlights, or other creative outputs based on information that users choose to provide within the Service.

Unless clearly disclosed otherwise in the future, myFurever does not use user-generated content to train general artificial intelligence models or external AI systems. User memories, images, and personal reflections are processed only to generate the specific outputs requested by the user or to support the functionality of the Service.

Where aggregated or anonymized information is used to improve system performance, reliability, or safety, such use is designed to protect individual user privacy and does not identify individual users or their personal content.

13. User Content Ownership

You retain full ownership of all content you upload, including photos, videos, reflections, stories, and pet memories. Content is private by default and is only shared when you choose to invite others to view or participate in shared memory spaces within the Service. When you invite others, those participants may be able to view, interact with, or contribute to the shared content according to the sharing permissions you establish.

Users are responsible for ensuring that they have the necessary rights and permissions to share content that includes images or information about other individuals.

Security and Retention

We implement reasonable and industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission, secure storage practices, and access controls. While we implement reasonable safeguards to protect information, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and for safeguarding access to their accounts.

15. Data Retention

We retain personal information and user-generated content for as long as necessary to provide and operate the Service, maintain account functionality, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect the security and integrity of the platform.

User content such as photos, videos, reflections, and pet profile information remains stored while your account is active so that you can access and manage your memories within the Service.

If you delete your account, your account will be deactivated and user-generated content will be removed from active systems within a reasonable period of time, subject to technical, security, backup, and legal retention requirements. In some cases, limited information may remain temporarily in backup or archival systems as part of routine data protection and disaster recovery processes.

Certain limited information may also be retained where necessary to comply with legal obligations, maintain required business records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or protect the security and integrity of the Service.

After applicable retention periods expire and backup systems are cycled, remaining content may be permanently deleted and may no longer be recoverable. Users are encouraged to maintain their own copies of important photos or memories outside the Service.

You may access or update your account information or delete your account. Account deletion requests may be made through the App or by contacting support@myfurevers.com.

The Service is intended for users age 13 and older. Users between 13 and 17 must have parental permission. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that such information has been collected, we will take steps to delete it.

Third-Party Services and Transfers

The Service may rely on trusted service providers to support functions necessary to operate the platform, including cloud hosting and storage, payment processing, analytics, security monitoring, artificial intelligence features, and app distribution through platforms such as Apple App Store or Google Play.

Trusted service providers may process limited information on our behalf in order to operate, secure, and maintain the functionality of the Service, and they are not permitted to use personal information for their own marketing, advertising, or unrelated purposes.

When users make purchases through Apple App Store or Google Play, payment transactions are processed by those platforms according to their own terms and privacy policies. myFurever does not store full credit card numbers on its own servers.

Furever, LLC does not control the independent policies or practices of third-party services, and users should review the privacy policies of those providers where applicable.

The Service is operated in the United States and information you provide may be stored and processed on servers located in the United States. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer, storage, and processing of your information in the United States.

myFurever does not sell personal data to advertisers or data brokers. Your memories remain private unless you choose to share them.

21. California Privacy Rights

California residents may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). These rights may include: requesting access to personal information, requesting deletion of personal information, requesting correction of inaccurate information, and/or requesting information about how data is used. myFurever does not sell personal information. We will respond to verified privacy requests within the timeframes required by applicable law.

In order to provide and operate the Service, myFurever may collect several categories of personal information. We may also collect user-generated content, including photos, videos, written reflections, memories, and pet profile information that you choose to upload or create within the platform. In addition, we may collect internet or application activity information, such as how features within the app are used or how users interact with different parts of the Service. This information helps us understand how the platform is functioning and how it can be improved. We may collect device information, including details such as the type of device used to access the Service, operating system version, and related technical information necessary to maintain compatibility and performance. If you purchase a subscription, payment-related information may be collected and processed by our payment providers, such as Apple App Store or Google Play. myFurever does not store full credit card numbers on its own servers. These categories of information are collected solely to operate, maintain, and improve the Service and are not sold to advertisers or data brokers.

myFurever collects limited data necessary to operate the Service. This includes Data linked to your account (email address, account credentials, uploaded photos, videos, and written content, and pet profile information) and App functionality data (device information and crash diagnostics). Subscription payments may be processed through Apple App Store or Google Play. myFurever does not use personal data for advertising or cross-app tracking.

myFurever is designed as a private memory platform, not an advertising network. We do not: sell personal data, display targeted advertising based on memories or reflections, or share user content with advertisers.

25. AI Transparency and Responsible Use

myFurever uses artificial intelligence to support creative storytelling and reflection. AI may process information such as: text entries, uploaded images, and pet profile details. AI-generated material is intended for creative and reflective purposes, and may occasionally contain inaccuracies or unexpected wording. We do not use AI systems to profile users for advertising or behavioral targeting.

26. Emotional Content Notice

myFurever is designed to help people celebrate and reflect on meaningful relationships with their pets. Some features may encourage users to revisit memories that include topics such as aging, illness, or the passing of a beloved animal. For some individuals, these reflections may evoke emotions such as sadness, nostalgia, or grief. These responses are a natural part of remembering meaningful relationships. However, the Service is not intended to provide mental health or therapeutic services. If engaging with memories becomes emotionally difficult, users are encouraged to seek support from trusted friends, family members, or qualified professionals.
